One Account Per User

Each user may maintain only one personal account. Multiple accounts may result in suspension of all accounts.

Ad Requirements

When posting ads on Adoo.lk, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions and genuine photos
• Set fair and reasonable prices
• Post ads in the correct categories
• Include only items you legally own or have authority to sell
• Respond to genuine inquiries promptly

Ad Content Standards

• All content must be in English, Sinhala, or Tamil
• No misleading or false information
• Original photos of actual items only
• Appropriate language and professional tone

The following items and content are strictly prohibited on Adoo.lk:

Illegal Items

• Drugs, narcotics, and controlled substances
• Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
• Stolen or counterfeit goods
• Items violating intellectual property rights

Restricted Content

• Adult or sexually explicit content
• Hate speech or discriminatory content
• Fraudulent or misleading advertisements
• Spam or duplicate postings
• Personal information of third parties

Free Services

Basic use of Adoo.lk including browsing and posting regular ads is free of charge.

Premium Services

• Featured ad placements
• Priority listing in search results
• Enhanced ad visibility tools
• Business account features

Payment Terms

• All fees are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR)
• Payment is required before premium service activation
• No refunds for completed premium services
• Prices may change with 30-day notice

Platform Role

Adoo.lk acts as an intermediary platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not:

• Own, sell, or deliver any items listed
• Guarantee the accuracy of ad content
• Verify the identity or legitimacy of users
• Control the quality, safety, or legality of items

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• All transactions and interactions with other users
• Verifying the legitimacy of items and sellers
• Following safety guidelines during meetings
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations

Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion feature.

Termination by Adoo.lk

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms & Conditions
• Posting prohibited content
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Multiple user complaints
• Inactive accounts (after 12 months of inactivity)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and all your ads will be removed. Some provisions of these Terms may survive termination.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Adoo.lk shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

Dispute Resolution

• First, contact our support team to resolve issues
• If unresolved, mediation may be required
• Legal proceedings will be in Colombo, Sri Lanka
• Sri Lankan law governs all interpretations
